Fabien Drouet
Fabien Drouet is an author and poet. After studying anthropology, he found writing a vital medium of impression and expression. He works as a peer health mediator for Un chez soi d'abord, an organization that helps homeless people with serious mental health problems find housing. In July 2020, he launched a free newspaper, 21 minutes, a poetry magazine in the broadest sense of the term, which is distributed on the streets, in railway stations and at metro stops in Lyon. He has published several collections of poetry with Éditions les Etaques, Editions la Boucherie littéraire, Editions Gros Textes and Editions du Sabot. In a collection of dialogues and prose entitled Je serai jamais morte, published by Éditions des Lisières, Fabien recounts his daily life with his grandmother and son, the three of them living under the same roof in Lyon. This unusual and sincere text won the Coup de Coeur des Lycéens St Exupéry award in 2023. In his spare time, he runs workshops on self-expression, writing and reading aloud. He likes to write with a bic pen, preferably black.
With the support of L'Agency, he is currently working on his first novel.
