Vous ne détestez pas le lundi

In France, as elsewhere, workplace malaise is intensifying. Workers are expressing their dissatisfaction with their company’s organization, perceived usefulness, and hierarchical recognition. All sectors, including the nonprofit and public service sectors, are now infected by absurd and violent forms of management that make people dread Monday mornings.

In response to this disillusionment, employers and the government resort to indignation and coercion: more sick leaves? Let’s impose waiting days. Increasing resignations? Let’s cut unemployment benefits. This suffering leads to a form of forced labor.

You Don’t Hate Mondays is an invitation to break free from the myths of work: presenteeism, merit, and the psychologization of suffering. This collective development manual proposes a new culture of revolt, one capable of legitimizing and relieving individual suffering in favor of a global insurrection, grounded in reality.
